New Changes Are Coming Y'all!

Hello my fitfam! How are you all doing?

Praying that this Summer has been nothing but fabulous for you guys! It is just sunny everywhere here in Florida.
Sorry for being MIA for so long. Life catches up to ya, you know? I love blogging but sometimes taking some time for yourself is healthy too!
There are going to be more changes to this little corner of the universe and I need your help.
Please participate in this wittle survey to help me see where I could direct this blog. I'll be back soon!
Thank you so much <3

What I've Been Thinking About Lately

Happy Thursday everyone! You made it through the hump ;)

This post won't include many photos, just random ramblings of myself. I hope that's okay with you guys! Just stay with me, okay?

Life has been going by WAY too fast these past few months. It's summertime for me already which means I'm a senior now. Man, I remember I was a little freshman a while ago and practically going to every teacher, asking them for directions to my next class. It's sad to think my high school experience is almost coming to a halt but I'm ecstatic for the future!

I always thought my future was going to be successful, that I was going to be some kind of doctor. Most Asian parents want their kids to be in the medical field (figures!) so I believed that it was my fate. Then the eating disorder took control.
How I let myself get that far into it, I have no idea. Suddenly, my dreams, my friends and the familiar light that once filled my life were slowly fading away. I isolated myself so that it was only me and my ED. I felt that this was the best choice - all so I could have a flat stomach and the all so popular thigh gap.

But long behold, I found love. Love from my God, the person who was always there, from the very beginning. The person who I ignored the past 2 years, thinking that there was no hope for me. The pain and anger that I bottled up inside was released from my body and my mind! I was free :)

Now, all I see is hope and light. The belief that I can do anything! My body is at peace and is where it should be. I'm not perfect by any means and I still have those days where ED comes back to bite my butt. But the most important thing that has changed is my willingness to fight back.

I learned that I find so much joy in helping people with their health goals and their nutrition. All I hope to do is to change even just one area in their life to better their body and mind. To love themselves for the accomplishes they made and find confidence!

"I am unique and I am beautiful."
Something that I haven't been able to say for too long. Don't make the same mistake I did and not appreciate everything and everyone around you. Say this to yourself everyday, as soon as you wake up. It'll make waking up much easier!

Be a vessel of love and spread it. Be the motivator to yourself and your friends to get moving! And most of all, remember that everything happens for a reason. There are better things for you at the end of every road. Just keep trucking, my friends <3

Day with My Sister

Hello everyone! I hope your day was wonderful :)
I recently got out of school a few days ago so it's summer break for me. Although it doesn't even feel like it at all~ My friend actually woke up early, got dressed, and went to his car, thinking it was time to go to school!
UMMM. awkward.

I had a great time with my sister today, shopping around at the mall. I didn't take that many pictures but I'll have more later, promise! ^^
Here was my outfit, bright and colorful for summer!

Once lunch was eaten, which was simple Chinese takeout (it wasn't bad!), we went to one of the biggest malls in our city. It was a long drive but we passed time by talking and catching up on life. I told her about this blog and she thought it was a great idea! She also gave me helpful advice<3

We looked around and fell upon Michael Kor bags and wallets! MY GOSH are they gorgeous.

Then we went to abercrombie and fitch, hollister, american eagle, and Forever 21. I bought 2 shirts and feather earrings~

My sister then wanted to check out the Best Buy Mobile store to look at her future phone, Samsung Galaxy II. Not going to lie, it has great features. But I would never give up my iPhone for it! I looked at the Kindle Fire on display and saw this:

Oh HELLO<3

Did you guys see the Avengers? It was the best movie I've seen in a while! The Hulk made me laugh the most because of his random anger moments haha.
After that, we headed home to a delicious spicy steamed fish dish my mom prepared for us. I don't have a picture but it was amazing. I am constantly learning how to cook from my mom everyday because I watch her make food for our family :) Definitely going to take these recipes to college!

Backing up to the beautiful morning, I had an awesome workout that consisted of 20 minutes of abs, 30 minutes of weight lifting, and 10 minutes of cardio. Shout out to Blogilates for a heart-pumping full body workout!

I had a yogurt mess that was just right for the hot weather! It contained Fage 0%, pumpkin, bananas, blueberries, Kashi Golean, and Peanut Butter Puffins.

Can't. Get. Enough. <3

Had an amazing and blessed day :) Going to read and hit the sheets!

A few questions that I have for everyone:

1. Do you exercise in the morning? - I do it to have more time in the day to do other things^
2. What is your favorite breakfast food? - OATMEAL!
3. What are you most excited about for the summer? - Spending some time with the family!
